2019-2020 New Student Pre-Registration Sessions
Please continue reading for information regarding online pre-registration for the 2019-2020 school year for new students.  THIS IS NOT FOR STUDENTS COMING FROM PEACHTREE MIDDLE SCHOOL. 
New Student Registration Hours
Parents who are enrolling new students during the school year are requested to observe the following hours:
8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

New Student Registration for the 2018-2019 school year began June 1, 2018. Please continue reading for more information. If you missed Open House / Registration Day on Aug. 2, please continue reading for next steps.


Please review this information if you are enrolling a new student to Dunwoody High School. This includes information for students new to DeKalb as well as students transferring from another DeKalb school. This is not for rising freshmen from Peachtree Middle School.

Copies of the following documents are needed from the Parent/Guardian:

1. Parent or Legal guardian with photo ID

2. Current proof of residence in the Dunwoody High attendance area:

Must be one of the following:

One – lease or mortgage statement


One – utility bill (water, gas or electric)

(Cable or phone bills are not acceptable)

A notarized affidavit, if the parent/guardian’s name is not on the bill or lease

Copies of the following documents are needed for the student:

1. Birth Certificate

2. Social Security card/Waiver

3. Transcript and withdrawal form and grades from the previous school, including test scores

4. Current immunization (GA form #3231) – 30 day waiver for out of state students

5. Current Hearing, Vision and Dental Screening (GA form #3300) – 30 day waiver for out of state students
