DHS Fencing Team Brings Home 3 Medals in First Tournament!
Dunwoody High School’s fencing team had much to celebrate after competing at Walton High School on Saturday, September 15. Team Captain Megan Murphy led the team with a gold medal for women’s fencing at the first tournament of the 2018-19 Georgia High School Fencing League (GHSFL) season. Fellow junior and Assistant Captain Sara Gelber and freshman Sam James both captured bronze medals. Additional team points were earned by: Robbie Garber, Hannah Soderberg, Valentina Thelen, and Lily Ragals.
