Senior Exam Exemptions

Senior Exam Exemption forms will be available in the front office after school on Monday 12/11. They will be due back to the main office no later than 4 PM on Thursday 12/14. The requirements are the same as they have been in the past.
  • The student must currently be in a senior homeroom.
  • The student must have an 89.50 average or higher.
  • The student must have not been absent for more than 5 days (excused and unexcused). Religious holidays and absences due to a school activity are the only exceptions.
  • The student must have an S in conduct.
  • The student cannot have had any referrals, ISS, or OSS during the semester.
  • All fines, fees, and overdue books must be cleared by the Library / Media Center.

I understand that by not taking the final exam in the classes listed above, that my final grade in those classes will be based upon all other graded assignments, assessments, projects, and the End of Course Assessment (if applicable). I understand that in a class that has an End of Course Assessment, the results of that test that will account for 20% of the semester grade, are not known yet, and could result in my final grade being less than an A. I understand that by not taking the final exam for the classes listed above, I am waiving an opportunity to raise my grade.
