Young Georgia Author's competition: Winners!

Ms. Williams and the rest of the English department would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all the students who participated in the Young Georgia Authors competition.  There were many outstanding entries, but only one person per grade could win.  We would like to congratulate the following winners:

For 9th grade, Rose Lubin won for her short story "Fourth Reich"
For 10th grade, Omari Foote won for her poem "Being Black"
For 11th grade, Hayris Panchi won for her short story "Through the Car Window"
And for 12th grade, Hannah Bowman won for her poem "The Unprovoked"

These winning entries will now complete against other winners throughout the county, so please congratulate these amazing young authors on their accomplishment and wish them well as they represent our school at the county level.
