The Wildcat football team takes the field at N.DeKalb stadium Friday night vs Lakeside for our first home game of the season. To celebrate the season opener and to recognize the undefeated Volleyball team, the Softball team and the Cross Country team we are bringing back our Hallway Pep Rally. All fall teams will assemble in the gym at 2:30 and with the cheerleaders and band providing the spirit the teams will march through the hallways beginning on the 1st floor, moving to the 3rd floor and on to the 2nd floor main hallway ending with Wildcat Pride. Teachers when you hear the band and cheerleaders and see the teams approaching, please allow your students to stand in the hall next to your room and cheer. It is a spirited and quick way to welcome the fall sports season, so everyone join the fun and support the hallway pep rally. Our first pep rally in the gym will be Friday, September 2 for the Chamblee game.
Our first game of the year is this Friday against Lakeside at North DeKalb High School. We are looking for a BLACKOUT at this game, so come wearing black! If you are coming to the football game, come HUNGRY! SHANES will be serving a delicious boxed meal for just $7 to our Wildcat Fans! Look for the SHANES tent!
