The Dunwoody High School Library Learning Commons contains more than 20,000 books, eBooks, and audiovisual materials. Our subscription research databases provide access to up-to-date information. These resources, plus multimedia computer work stations with presentation software, scanners, and digital video editing equipment allow students and staff access to information from a variety of resources and offer a selection of choices for classroom presentation.
 

Mission Statement

The mission of the Dunwoody High School Library Learning Commons is to provide a variety of learning opportunities to ensure that students and staff are effective users and producers of ideas and information. The Library Learning Commons will provide access to information resources within the school building and beyond to meet the curricular and the personal needs of the students and staff. The Teacher-Librarian(s) will collaborate with teachers to plan instructional units that facilitate learning and will teach information literacy skills within the context of the curriculum. The Dunwoody High School Library Learning Commons will offer an enriched learning environment committed to helping students become lifelong learners.
