"Let the Good Times Roll" at DHS Homecoming 2018!
Homecoming is fast approaching. Have you asked your date to the dance? Dance tickets go on sale Thursday, October 18 during all lunches. Tickets are $15 each or $20 for a couple. Please remember, if you are bringing a date who does not attend DHS, we need a completed permission slip when you purchase your tickets. Blank permission slips are posted outside room 2117.
Homecoming Spirit Week starts Monday. Do you know what you are wearing?
- Monday (10/22) - Wear your comfy pajamas to school for Pajama Day!
- Tuesday (10/23) - Who is your favorite teacher here at DHS? This is your chance to dress just like them for Teacher Look-alike Day!
- Wednesday (10/24) - Celebrate Generation Day! Freshmen - dress as babies, Sophomores - dress as elementary schoolers, Juniors - dress as parents, and Seniors - dress as senior citizens.
- Thursday (10/25) - Dress as your favorite character for Character Day!
- Friday (10/26) - Dress as your favorite board game character OR wear your class colors!
Homecoming parade: Thursday, October 25
Join us for the Homecoming parade. The parade will begin at 4:00 pm on Vermack Court, will proceed down Vermack Road, and will end at the Vanderlyn entrance to the high school parking lot. In support of this year's theme, class floats will represent different board games, and candy will be plentiful.
Pep Rally: Friday, October 26
Dunwoody High School Gym 1:50 - 2:50 pm - Presentation of the Homecoming Court, skits by senior court members, and, of course, lots of cheering and spirit!
Tailgate: Friday, October 26
4-7 pm at Dunwoody High School ….more details to come about food and entertainment. (Please note - we are having the tailgate at DHS since Chamblee has a game before ours. It is their Senior Night and we don't want to interfere with parking.)
Homecoming game: Friday, October 26
DHS Wildcats v. Chattahoochee at North DeKalb Stadium. Kickoff is at 8:00 pm, but parking may be tricky since Chamblee has a football game right before ours and it is their Senior Night. Game tickets will be available during DHS lunch, at the gate or online for a small surcharge via GoFan.

DCC (Dunwoody Country Club) is No Longer a Picture Party Option - Due to parking limitations and events held on the weekends, DCC will no longer welcome Pre-HoCo picture parties on their front lawn. Parents, plan ahead and help your students choose other local picturesque places for HoCo group pictures.
