Seniors, once again, the Dunwoody Woman’s Club is pleased to announce that this spring we will award three $2,000 Student Achievement Scholarships to outstanding college bound high school seniors. Students applying must live or attend school in zip codes of 30328, 30338, 30346, 30350 or 30360.
This award is presented to students who, in the opinion of the awards committee, demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, school and community involement, and an exceptional desire for higher education. The recipient must attend an accredited post-secondary institution and may use the scholarship for tuition, room, board, fees, books and any other legitimate educatioinal expense. The scholarship money will be sent directly to the financial aid department of the student’s chosen school.
Students may download the applicaiton from their website at www.dunwoodywomansclub.com. Completed applications (including 2 letters of recommendation; 5 copies total; plus the sealed envelope with the Counselor’s Report and official transcripts) should be mailed by the applicant to: Scholarship Committee Chairperson, Dunwoody Woman’s Club, P. O. Box 88664, Dunwoody, GA 30356-8864. All applications must be postmarked by March 18, 2022. We will send the applicant a receipt confirmation email on or before March 23, 2022.
