New to Dekalb Student Information Sessions

New Wildcat Registration Sessions in June - not for students who completed 8th grade at Peachtree Middle

There will be three sessions: Wednesday June 5th at 1PM, Thursday June 6th at 9AM, and Tuesday June 11th at 1PM.  Sessions are anticipated to last approximately 45 minutes.  

Please make sure to complete Online Registration (OLR) after you receive your student's final report card.  Register for a session here, and add your OLR # after you complete OLR in June.   

The following documents are required to complete the application process:
  • An official document showing proof of birth date (birth certificate, certified birth record, official transcript).
  • Current proof of residency (mortgage, lease, or utility bill showing name of parent/guardian and current address)
  • Valid Georgia Certificate of Immunization (GA Form #3231)
  • Evidence of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening (GA Form #3300-Rev. 2013)
  • Valid government-issued photo ID of the adult (parent or legal guardian) registering the child (drivers license, military ID, passport)
  • Child’s social security card/number (or you may sign a waiver)
  • Most recent report card or official school transcript (current K-12 student)
  • Most recent discipline records from previous school (students enrolling in grades 1-12)
  • Withdrawal documents from previous school (current K-12 student)
During the sessions we will go over general information about DHS, review Dekalb County School District academic requirements, review and submit the course selection forms, and answer questions. Students are encouraged to attend and participate in selecting their academic pathways.

  • Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
  • 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Until further notice, the Counseling Office will schedule virtual college visits through Naviance. Please use the instructions below to sign up for these visits through Naviance:
  • Login to Naviance through Clever
  • Look for the section titled "What's New" at the bottom right side of the page
  • Locate your school of interest then click "More Info" to register
  • Log back into the "What's New" section of Naviance on the date/time of the visit to access the virtual link
